Japanese IME on Microsoft SUCKS!
GRR! I'm so pissed off! For some stupid reason, the computer I use to do all my photoshopping refuses to let the Japanese language pack work properly. I wanted to retype the words above, but for some reason, the Japanese IME (which is the tool bar for letting me switch between direct imput, hiragana imput, etc) WASN'T WORKING! ARGH! I HATE COMPUTERS! It's just being stupid and perverse and I hate it!!
Anyway, the word bubble to the left is David, He's saying to his aunt that he's leaving the house. His aunt replies for him to be careful.
KingV--no worries, I'll always translate any japanese that happens in the comic. Yes, his aunt lives in a nice neighbourhood. I want to write more about her in the future. ^_^ Her telling David to be careful is just really a stock phrase that Japanese people say to one another upon parting, like we say, "see you later", or "take care". She could also say, "Iterashai", which is a standard goodbye type phrase when one leaves the house.
